Enoch's Five Monthiversary

Our chummiest baby boy decided to stand up and bear his own weight this month (with a grown person holding his hands, of course). He doesn't roll over and thinks it's a cruel form of torture to be put on his belly on the ground to learn how to move. He's teething like the dickens and drooling until it looks like he's gone for a swim. He fake-laughs and real-laughs and gets his bouncer jumping with a vigorous and impressively efficient rhythmic one-leg kick. He still snuggles (the very coziest, curliest kind). He leans in for hugs. He soaks up the bountiful affection of every last one of his siblings, knowing instinctively that it is his right. He went on his first trip to the Adirondacks and dipped his toes in Lake Ontario and went to his first blueberry patch.

It's been a happy month with our Mr. Sunshine. He's the jolliest little man.

(Torture, see?? Distraction can only last so long.)

The chummiest. The very chummiest.
