Due to Join Us

June 10th. The day our little Pipsqueak was due to join us. Instead, God gave him to us early and we've been loving him on this side for just over three weeks. 

Happy due date, little one. We are so grateful you are here.

(In other news, Peregrine left the hospital at 7 pounds and weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce yesterday. He's growing like a champ.)

These Are the Days

Tadhg is in his glory--barefoot, dirty, and soaking wet more often than not. What little boy wouldn't consider that his own personal utopia?

We're all going to miss Rundy mightily when he goes back to work. Today is his last day off (but he only works one day before we hit the weekend, so that's not too shabby). He is the best sort of daddy.

This is Tadhg's new morning routine (best completed ASAP...it's never too early to be liberated from being indoors).

These pictures aren't the greatest, but they're enough to give you an idea of how Tadhg feels about Pippin. It's so sweet seeing our rough-and-tumble cinderblock boy being nothing short of tender with his tiny brother. Each day starts out pretty much the same; snuggle time in bed as a family. If Peregrine is in his bassinet when Tadhg wakes up, Tadhg is quick to check the bassinet and request forcible ejection so he can snuggle with little brother.
