G.F.D. - Family

Tadhg is blessed with the best sort of family on both sides. I was reminded of this as I watched my niece--his cousin--cradle him tonight at her 10th birthday party. She held him close, the figure of a little mother, eyes soft with lovelight as she quietly exclaimed over him.

Today? Today I am grateful for family and for this little girl and her warm heart in particular.
