G.F.D. - Six Months

September 8, 2018

Half a year old today, and what a fast-flying time it's been! Our little hambone of a boy is sitting up on his own (if we help him into the position first), discovering gravity, and figuring out how to hit things together to make cool noises. He hasn't learned how to scoot forward yet, but he can turn circles like a pro. He loves All The Food and is getting the hang of the pincer grasp to pick up little vittles. Things strike his funny bone more often now (like the Forehead Bonking game, which is about as complex as it sounds...we bonk foreheads, he giggles, and it's just a jolly time). He loves blowing raspberries and is quite undeniably saying "mama" when he's sad. (However, the jury's still out as to whether he has any idea that mama means me.)

Tadhg: 1
Mama: 0

He knocked the whole container of food off the table just as I was getting back to wash him up, and it splattered surprisingly high to decorate my face. Mr. Stretchy Lightning Arms.

Little imp was pleased with himself, too...
