G.F.D. - The Spectacular Purdy Baby Shower

It's kind of fun looking back at all that's happened between Tadhg-in-my-belly and now. All those tired cliches about time flying and it's over before you know it and BlahBlahBlah are cliches for a reason.
Here's a rewind to one of three (three!!!) baby showers that we were thrown before Tadhg made his appearance. (Find a post about the shower on the Johnson side on my sister's blog right here. And the third shower was a surprise that Rundy's coworkers threw--no pictures of that one.) People hadn't even met him, and already he merited his very own party. And what a party it was! So many hands generously helped with the shower--hors d'oeuvres making hands, and decorating hands, and dishwashing hands, and snowflake-making hands, and gift-giving hands. We felt extremely loved and thoroughly spoiled. It was (and still is) a deep good to be surrounded by so many who are wishing us well as our family grows.
It was a lovely, over-the-top-beautiful-in-a-whimsical-and-elegant-way shower.

See what I mean?!

One of my favorite touches--forced lily of the valley, compliments of my mother-in-law.
